"The Inspire Team were welcoming from the word go and available when I had questions.  My work is always marked and returned to me on time.  It is clear that the tutor had really read and understood what I was saying in my essays and reviews.  My tutor always made psotitive and constructive comments which helped me develop my skills as a trainee. We were encouraged to ask questions and I never felt that I was judged, even when the questions were simple. felt valued as a trainee by the tutors and the other students".

Rebecca, Student, Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills

"I undertook my professional counselling training with Inspire.  My experience at Level 2 was amazing; I loved learning about the listening skills and engaging in role play.  Level 4 was a little different - this was life changing!  At diploma level there is a higher expectation both academically and personally, as you progress to developing the knowledge, skills and attitude of a professional counsellor.  The academic demands were difficult but manageable and the tutors supported me 100%.  For me, the hardest challenge was the personal development - 'we cannot be effective counsellors unless we are prepared to be counselled'.   At times all my resources felt exhausted; however, if I was to have my time again I would still do this course.  Change doesn't come easily and this course will and should change your life; the tutors understand this and are therefore fantastic at encouraging and supporting you until you cross that finish line."

Sam, newly qualified counsellor

"Inspire have kindly provided two training courses for us as a church in the past 12 months - a session on 'Self Harm' for our Youth Worker(s) and then the 'Caring Well' workshop.  Both courses were adapted to fit our specific needs.  We found the team's willingness to accommodate our requests and their professionalism in delivering the training to be of a high standard.  Their ongoing connection with us as a church and their heart for helping and supporting is clearly seen in all that they do.  We look forward to using them in the future."

Katie Faux, PA to Senior Minister, Burlington Baptist Church, Ipswich

"Inspire has delivered a variety of courses for our volunteers such as 'Listening Skills', 'Bereavement and Loss' and 'Listener Self Care'.  These sessions are always very well received by attendees and we get excellent feedback.  Inspire are happy to tailor the sessions to their target audience".

Frances Askew, Volunteering Project Co-ordinator, Suffolk Family Carers

"I really enjoyed the training; there was a great balance of taught theory, practical demonstrations and practice.  I would definitely book another course".

Lesley, CPD course participant
